Sudewo again declared reluctant to withdraw from the pati regent

Jakarta – Regent of Pati Sudewo again stated that it was reluctant to resign, although he was urged by Pati residents who held a demonstration some time ago. In the video, Sudewo claims not to be afraid if there is a demonstration. He claimed that 5,000, even 50 thousand people, would not be afraid. According to him, the decision was to promote the people of Pati Regency. On August 13, a massive demonstration arose. The masses urged Sudewo to resign. Sudewo answered the pressure afterwards. He refused to resign for being chosen by the people. “I was constitutionally and democratically chosen by the people so I couldn’t stop the claim, even though there was a mechanism,” Sudewo said at the Pati Regent’s office, as reported by Detikjateng, Wednesday (8/13). The Pati United Community Alliance also did a peaceful action on Monday (8/25). They sent a letter to the KPK of the Pati Post Office. They asked the KPK to arrest Sudewo.
