Kajri has done remarkable work in many areas, innovation is needed for farmers: Bhagirath Chaudhary

Jodhpur, September 20 (IANS). Public Servants Minister Bhagirath Chaudhary visited the Central Dry Region Research Institute (Kajri) of Jodhpur on Saturday. During this time he observed items from millet and other foods. He spoke to the media in Kajri, saying that many innovations have been done since the establishment of the institute, but that more research is still needed. He emphasized that research on new crop varieties is needed in the era of climate change, so that farming can be made more advantageous and farmers can become prosperous. Chaudhary said: “Kajri has done remarkable work in many areas, but we are not satisfied. We want more research, especially on crops that are beneficial to farmers in the changing season.” Asked for the problems facing the farmers because of Girdawari’s online process, the minister said Girdawari is happening online and offline. He informed that the Patwear was instructed to complete Girdawari as soon as possible. Farmers also received the facility of online Girdawari. Many farmers are not yet fully aware of this process, but the government is constantly trying their awareness and comfort. On the news of the Movement on the Minimum Support Prize (MSP) by some farmers, Bhagirath Chaudhary said that much was done for the farmers led by Premier Narendra Modi. He said that MSP has been increased since 2024 and that farmers have received the facility to choose which crop is beneficial to them. In the third term of the Prime Minister, MSP was increased on each Kharif and Rabi crops. This is the first time. We have increased the MSP earlier and will expand it further. But what the opposition did for the Boers must be asked. On the issue of welfare of farmers and innovation in farming, he said that the farmer of India is filling the country and it is less to help them. From May 29 to June 12, ‘Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’ was developed, which established a dialogue with farmers. We consider farmers as scientists. Learn from their experiences and work with scientists about new innovation. The government is committed to the wealth of the farmers and is constantly working in their interest. -Ians Aks/DSC shares this story -tags
