Karnataka: 8 People died as a result of trucks that entered the march of Ganesh's immersion
Haasan, September 12 (IANS). In the Hassan district of Karnataka, a truck loaded with goods, people who were admitted to the Ganesh submission on Friday night, crushed and killed 8 people and injured more than 20 people. The incident happened near Mosale Hosahalli Railway Gate in Hasan Taluka in the Hasan district. According to police, the truck driver drove a speed vehicle during the immersion of Ganesh in Mosale Hosahalli and hit the crowd involved in the march of the ganeshy hump. It is said that the march includes people from Mosal Hosahalli, Hirahalli and nearby towns. The dead have not yet been identified. Manager Bhuvanesh was admitted to hospital. People pull him out of the car and hit him. The truck first struck a bicycle, then hit a divider and eventually crushed the crowd for Ganesh impetion. Four people died on the spot and four others died in different hospitals. According to police, five of the eight dead engineering students are. The bodies of the deceased were sent to the morgue of the Community Health Center. The seriously injured were admitted to government and various private hospitals in the city of Haasan and Holenarsipur. Other injured were admitted to local hospitals. Later, senior police officers reached the place. In response to the incident, Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy wrote on X, “I was deeply shocked to hear the news of the heinous accident during the Ganpati submission in Mosal Hosahalli, Hasan Taluka, where many people lost their lives and more than 20 people were seriously injured. Kumaraswamy said. God must give peace to the departed souls and give this sadness to the heartbreaking families. I pray that all the injured are healthy.
