Karnataka: A person who stabbed his wife 11 times in front of his daughter surrendered to the police in Bangalore
Bengaluru, September 23 (IANS). The accused surrendered to Bengaluru police on Tuesday, who stabbed his second wife 11 times and stabbed him 11 times. The incident occurred on Monday before the victim, Relha’s 12 -year -old daughter. The accused was identified as 43 -year -ou Lohitashv alias Lokesh, a resident of Sira Town in the Tumkuru district. DCP (West) S. Girish said on Tuesday that the accused voluntarily surrendered to police and a case was registered against him in terms of section 103 of the BNS Act. He further said that Lokesh had committed this crime on the suspicion that his wife had a relationship with other men, which at this stage looks unfounded. According to police, the victim Relha, who is divorced and mother of two daughters, recently married Lokesh. It was also his second marriage. Relha, who worked in a private business, left her younger daughter with her parents and kept the older daughter with her. Lokesh objected to that and demanded that the older daughter be sent away, but Recla refused. In addition, Lokesh suspected that the line was working in a private enterprise, that he had an illegal relationship in his workplace. On Monday, when Rekha stood at a bus stop near Sankadakats in Bengaluru, Lokesh chased her and stabbed her chest and other parts of her body 11 times in front of her daughter. When the people standing in the area tried to stop him, he threatened them and attacked him. Later he threw the knife to the people and escaped from the place. Initial investigations revealed that the line of cabin driver Lokesh and Hassan’s Channarayapatna met through friends who work in the same business. He was in a direct relationship for about one and a half years before deciding to get married recently. The couple rented a house in Sankadatta, where Lokesh often quarreled with his older daughter. On the day of the murder there was a fight between the two. Relha then left the house with her daughter, but in Anger Lokesh pursued her and committed the crime.
