Manesvi told that Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and their security personnel removed their shoes before decorating the statue of Karpoori Thakur. It shows that he is a grassroots leader. I am proud to be a part of the family whose member was Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur. We may not have seen him but his work for Bihar and the country means a lot to me. External Affairs Minister Ramnath Thakur said that PM Modi made the people proud by coming to Karpoori village and showed his respect by decorating the statue of Karpoori Thakur. I express my gratitude on their behalf. Ramnath Thakur said that Karpoori Thakur lit the torch for the rights of the poor and the downtrodden and fought against injustice. Prime Minister Modi appealed to the public to follow his principles. We accept that Prime Minister Modi strengthened the NDA alliance by starting the election campaign from the birthplace of Karpoori Thakur. He said that NDA candidates should win from all areas and further strengthen the leadership of Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Modi. PM Modi paid respect to the area by coming to this village. On Congress MP Rahul Gandhi being called a Jannayak, Ramnath Thakur taunted and said that the people of Karpoori Thakur have made a Jannayak. Who made Rahul Gandhi a public leader? No one becomes a public leader by someone’s advice. It is wrong to say that. –IANS DKM/DKP Share this story Tags
