Kashi will shine with cow -miss lamps on Dev Diwali, will become an example of women empowerment

Dabhoi, October 12 (IANS). The festival of Diwali is celebrated across the country on October 20 and exactly 15 days later the Feast of Dev Diwali is celebrated in Kashi. Dev Diwali festival has a great stake in Kashi, every year the Ghats of River Ganga is decorated with lakhs lamps, but this time the ghats will not be decorated with earth lamps, but with an eco-friendly lamps of cow. The particular thing is that these lamps promote the empowerment of women. In Dabhoi’s Umaid Center, women diligently make cow lamps to decorate the Ganga Ghats on the day of Dev Diwali. These lamps are made with different NGOs. Society for Indian Development, Rewomen’s Welfare Foundation and Naranarayan Dev Charitable Trust of Vadodara work together to make eco-friendly lamps and employ women. These lamps will be sent from Dabhoi to the Ganga Ghat in Kashi and will be used on Diwali. The organization set a target to make 3 lakh cow -clamps to promote the purchase of indigenous goods and empowerment of women. Akshita Fateesingh as well as associated with the organization said in a special conversation with Ians that cow lamps would decorate the ghats of Kashi. He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested the purchase of indigenous goods in the country, in such a situation, by making cow lamps, we emphasized the empowerment of women and to make them independent. Let us tell you that only women are doing the work to make lamps. The work to make lamps is also done with the help of machines. He said that even if the lamps flowed into the ganga, there would be no damage to Mother Ganga. He requested to buy more and more eco-friendly lamps. Dev Diwali is very important in Sanatan Dharma. It is believed that the gods are upset about the atrocities of the Demon Tripurasura, the gods in Lord Shiva took refuge and asked him to destroy the demon. In such a situation, to save the universe, Lord Shiva Tripurasura killed on the day of Kartik Purnima, after which the gods and goddesses were satisfied and relieved Kashi with lamps.
