Kapil Mishra, Minister of Arts, Culture and Language and Tourism of the Government of Delhi, held a special meeting today with well -known artists from various art areas of the capital in the Delhi Secretariat. The main purpose of this meeting was to create communication with the artists, listen to their views and include it in the government’s plans. During this time, the artists suggested that programs related to arts and culture should be organized in all constituencies of the meeting so that new artists can get a platform. He also suggested building a cultural complex to provide opportunities to talented artists living in slums. Also claimed a dedicated digital portal, where artists can registration and recognize. After the meeting, Minister Mishra also met the chief minister of the actors, Relha Gupta, the CM ensured the artists of all kinds of assistance of the government. The dialogue meeting was attended by senior actors related to film, music, theater, stage art, Bhajan and singing, some of which also received a high honor such as Padma Bhushan. Mishra said the new Delhi government is committed to promoting the vision of Premier Narendra Modi. He said that any people or society is incomplete without its art, culture and language, and it is our priority to make the capital Delhi a pioneer in this region. Mishra said the artist made his full contribution. The government’s contribution to the promotion of our arts and culture was not commendable and it has been almost negligible over the past few years. In recent times, the government could not pay as much attention to arts and culture as it should have given.
