Kemnaker praises the efforts of the Western Java Provincial Government to protect Jamsostek for vulnerable workers
Jakarta -Minister of Manpower Yassierli appreciated the Western Java provincial government that provided the protection of social security (Jamsostek) for vulnerable workers. The appreciation was transferred during the opening of the ‘Socialization of the Jamsostek Program for Non Prize Groups (BPU) in the City of Bandung, West -Java Province, today. “I really hope that after this socialization activity you will increasingly understand the importance of Jamsostek. For this reason, the Ministry of Manpower encourages the region to continue to innovate and synergize in sectors to expand the protection for workers, both wage recipients (PU) and BPU,” he explained. Meanwhile, director general of Phi Jamsos Kemnaker Indah Anggoro Putri emphasized that today’s socialization was attended by 100 participants. This activity aims to provide knowledge and increase the BPU segment workers regarding the Jamsostek program. “This socialization also aims to encourage an increase in the scope of participation in social security in the Western Java province,” he concluded.
