During his visit he visits the Information Fusion Center-Indian Ocean region at Gurugram and training of installations of the Southern Naval Command at Kochi. The purpose of this program is to further strengthen training cooperation. Remarkable is that Kenya Navy is an important partner of India in the Indian Ocean region. She actively participated in the multilateral exercise Aicimi and Goa Maritime Conclave. Currently, the visit of the Kenai Navy chief is an important phase of Indo-Kenya fleet relations, which further strengthens the collective commitment to shared interests and safety in the Indian Ocean region. At the same time, when you talk about the maritime involvement of African India, that is, ‘Aicimi’, in this exercise, practice against pirates and dacoits is done. It was the first naval practice in Africa among ten countries, including India, this year. The maritime phase of this six-day practice held in Dar-E-Salam, Tanzania, took place between April 16-18. The Indian Navy’s guided rocket destroyer ins Chennai and the landing of the shipping tank were reached for the sea phase. Apart from India and Tanzania, this important practice in Africa included the African countries Comoros, Djibouti, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Seychelles and South Africa.
