Kerala: Swapna Suresh Questions Ed Summons to Pinarayi Vijayan's Son
Thiruvananthapuram, October 11 (IANS). Gold -smuggling accused Swapna Suresh created a new controversy on Saturday through a recent Facebook post. He asked questions about why the Malayales media now report on the summons sent by the Maintenance Directorate (ED) to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s son Vivek Kiran. He emphasized that if the child of an ordinary citizen ignores the ED notice, it will lead to immediate arrest, court proceedings and public riots. He wrote, “The Father knows very well that if the Ed is properly questioning his son and daughter, everything will become clear and clear like the sound of a bell.” He also said that both are saved to protect the political and financial interests of the family. Her post referred to an incident from 2018 in which she claimed to have gone to the home of a ‘captain’ with her former boss – the UAE Consul -General. Suresh wrote, “The captain told him that his son worked in a bank in the vague and wanted to buy a star hotel in the vague. At the time, I thought how a bank employee could invest so much, which meant that the father’s abuse of position and accumulation of illegal assets should have made this agreement possible.” She further writes that if the CCTV of ‘Captain’s’ house was not destroyed by lightning, then Ed could see the photos. And she says at the end of her post that there may be more revelations in the coming days. Suresh is currently on bail after being jailed in an alleged golden smuggling case and was very close to Vijayan’s former general secretary M. Sivasankar, who retired as a senior IAS officer, but was jailed twice. -SYANS SCH Share this story Tags
