Jakarta – The Ministry of Transmigration (Kementrans) sent 306 Candidates for Reserve Components (Komcad). Minister of Transmigration IFTITAH Sulaiman said that the participants, after graduating, would get the rank equivalent to the TNI. IFTITAH initially explained that, after graduating the selection phase, they would undergo training in Bandung for two months for two months. He said this activity is a form of cooperation between the Ministry of Finance with the Ministry of Defense. “After participating in the selection phase, they will be trained for about 2 months of basic military training at the Army Kodiklat in Bandung,” IFTITAH Sulaiman said at the Ministry of Transmigration, South Jakarta, Wednesday (9/24/2025). The defense of the country in accordance with the Constitution means there is no doubt,” he explained. He also said the Komcad was not a form of militar, but rather a form of state defense. Later, after training training, the participants will get the rank of TNI equivalent. “Then they will be inaugurated later and get the rank in accordance with the ranks in the TNI. For graduates in high school graduates become Tamtama, and graduates become Bintara, and graduates will become officers,” he said. Thereafter, the Komcad will continue with IFTITAH or return to the transmigration area in their respective regions. “Then they will be returned to the transmigration area and prepared if the state is naturally necessary on the decision of the President with the approval of the DPR for mobilization. The first is in a state of emergency, and the second is the emergency of a disaster,” he said. The IFTITAH transmigrant Komcad batalion previously said it would form a backup component battalion (Komcad).
