Mumbai, June 7 (IANS) Maharashtra Health Department shared information on Saturday about the latest status related to Kovid-19. According to the report, 86 new Covid -positive patients were confirmed in the state today, which increased to 595 active cases. The good news is that 749 patients recovered and returned, which improved the recovery rate. At the same time, since January 2025, a total of 18 deaths have been recorded in the state of Kovid. According to the information given by the Department of Health, a total of 16.226 swab samples have been examined since January, of which 1.362 samples were found positive. Of these, 640 cases were reported only from Mumbai. 86 New cases received on Saturday include 28 Mumbai patients, 33 of Pune, six from Thane, seven from PCMC (Pimpri-Chinchwad), two from Meera-Bhayandar, two from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and three from Nagpur and one from Satara and one of Satara and one of Kolhapur. According to the Department of Health, the number of Kovid cases in the state is seen from time to time, which is not only limited to Maharashtra, but a similar situation is seen in other countries and some countries.
