KPK names 1 civil servant from the Ministry of Agriculture suspect in alleged rubber processing corruption

Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named one person as a suspect in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of rubber processing facilities at the Ministry of Agriculture for the fiscal year 2021-2023. The party named as suspect is Yudi Wahyudin (YW) as ASN at the Ministry of Agriculture. “Yes (YW is a suspect),” KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Jakarta, on Tuesday (21/10/2025). The KPK said Yudi was one of the suspects. “Yes, in relation to anyone who has been named as a suspect, we will update later,” he said. Today, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) questioned Yudi on this matter. The inspection was conducted at the KPK Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta. “Brother YW is being investigated regarding planning and budgeting, including also investigation regarding the implementation of the acquisition of the formic acid project, yes, related to that,” he said. The Corruption Eradication Commission itself is currently investigating allegations of corruption in rubber processing at the Ministry of Agriculture for the 2021-2023 financial year. When disclosed, the Corruption Eradication Commission said it had named one suspect, but the figure was not specified. “We have named 1 (one) person as a suspect. The investigation process is currently ongoing, the name and position of the suspect cannot be disclosed at this stage,” KPK spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika said in a written statement on Monday (2/12). In this case, the Corruption Eradication Commission conducted a search at one place. The Corruption Eradication Commission seized evidence ranging from money to electronic evidence. “The number (search locations) is only 1 location,” he said.
