Jakarta – The Corruption Passing Commission (KPK) called the Regent of Pati Sudewo (SDW) to be investigated today. Sudewo will be investigated tomorrow regarding the alleged corruption case of the Railroad (KA) project. The KPK summoned Sudewo on Friday (8/22), but was absent on the grounds that there were other matters. The KPK also believes that Sudewo will attend today’s exam. “So far it is still scheduled in accordance with that date, so we are patient, we are both waiting, and we believe in the request to reschedule the SDW itself, so we believe that the SDW brothers will also be present at the investigation,” Budi Prasetyo, spokesman for KPK, Tuesday (8/26) told reporters. Sudewo’s investigation will be conducted at the KPK Red and White Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta. “So far, the information we have received, the exam in the red and white building is planned to schedule the previous inspection,” he said. Budi allegedly said that Sudewo allegedly received a commitment fee from the establishment of the railway track while serving as a member of Parliament. He said the KPK would investigate the commitment fee to Sudewo. “Yes, this is true. Brother SDW (Sudewo) is one of the parties who allegedly also accepts the flow of commitment fee related to the railroad project we transferred yesterday, relating to the detention of one of the suspects, namely Brother R,” Budi told reporters in the KPK building, South Jakarta, Wednesday (8/13). “Of course, these information investigators will be investigated, and of course we will later update the investigation process associated with this SDW brother,” he continued. The KPK mentioned a number of suspects in this case. One of the youngest is ASN with the Ministry of Transport, Risna Sutriyanto (RS), who is the chairman of the working group related to the Double Railway Development Project between Solo Balapan-Kadipiro.
