‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ completes 27 years, Karan Johar says emotionally – This film is everything for me

Mumbai, October 16 (IANS). Released on Diwali in 1998, the film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ is still considered among the most memorable films of Bollywood. This year the film completes 27 years. Karan Johar started his career as a director with this film. He shared an emotional post on social media platform Instagram on Thursday. The film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ starring Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee not only created a stir at the box office but also made a special place in the hearts of the audience. Karan Johar posted some unseen pictures related to the shooting of the film in his Instagram post. Although he didn’t say anything directly in his post, the pictures and the words associated with them have once again refreshed the emotions associated with the film. The pictures shared by Karan Johar on his Instagram are from the film sets. Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee, Farah Khan, Archana Puran Singh, Anupam Kher and Karan Johar himself are seen in these pictures. He also added the film’s famous song ‘Tum Paas Aaye, Yun Muskuraye’ in the background of all these pictures, which made this post even more emotional for the fans. The story of the film is based on a love triangle, depicting the ups and downs of the relationship between three colleagues Rahul, Anjali and Tina. The film is divided into two parts. The first part shows the college fun and the beginning of love, while the second part shows how Rahul’s daughter tries to reunite him with his old friend Anjali. In the film, Shahrukh Khan played the role of Rahul, while Kajol played the role of Anjali and Rani Mukherjee played the role of Tina. Salman Khan played a cameo role of Aman Mehra in the film. Apart from this, veteran actors like Anupam Kher, Farida Jalal and Reema Lagoo were also part of the film. The direction of the film was as strong as its music. Jatin-Lalit duo composed the music for the film. Sameer wrote the songs of the film. Songs like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, ‘Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayi’ and ‘Sajanji Ghar Aaye’ were hits at that time and even today people listen to them with the same love.
