Kuldeep Yadav said about the tremendous performance in the Asia Cup, Dalip Trophy got rhythm
ARM -TRAINER CULDEEP Yadav, who played a key role in the win in India’s Asia Cup title, says the bowling in the Dalip trophy helped him to support his rhythm. Kuldeep took wickets in every Asia Cup match, but his four wickets in the final against Pakistan prevented India from scoring a big score. Kuldeep’s turn hit the opposition batsmen. Kuldeep was India’s most successful bowler throughout Asia Cup, who took a total of 17 wickets in the tournament. He took wickets in every game and played an important role in the team’s win. In the group stage, Culedeep took four wickets for seven runs against the UAE, three against Pakistan and one against Oman. In the Super Four phase, Kuldeep took one against Pakistan, three against Bangladesh and one against Sri Lanka, while taking four wickets in the final. Fortunately with his performance in the Asia Cup, Kuldeep shared a video of the Council of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in which Kuldeep speaks to Rinku. Kuldeep said: “If you haven’t played cricket for a long time, you need a rhythm. I got a lot of bowling opportunities in the Dalip trophy, so when I got to the tournament, my bowling clearly went well. My role was to stop and take wickets in the middle over. Kuldeep made a huge spin trio with Varun Chakraborty and Akshar Patel. This trio plagued the batsmen with his diversity. Varun said: “I was very happy to give this role to the Indian team, and especially when head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Suryakumar Yadav told me that I would have to play a difficult role in the tournament and bowling in the final.” Share this story -tags
