Mumbai, October 12 (IANS). Actor Kunal Khemu won the ‘best debut director’ award at the Filmfare Awards for his director’s debut ‘Margao Express’. Kunal described this victory as his childhood dream. The actor shared two photos with the trophy on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Filmfare Baby. I secretly wanted to win this trophy since childhood. Keeping it in my hands is like a dream.” Kunal thanks Filmfare and Jitesh Pillai for the honor. He also gave credit to his entire team, which includes producers Rita Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Rucha Pathak, Kasim Jagmagiya, Vishal Chandamani and Excel films. He praised the actors Avinash Tiwari, Pratik Gandhi, Divyendu and Nora Fatehi for bringing the characters to life. Kunal also thanks his hardworking crew, members of each section and the audience who liked the film by buying tickets. He remembers the support of his family and said, “With folded hands, with hearts full of love and gratitude, thank you all.
