Earlier, he had a kidney transplant in Singapore in 2022, where his younger daughter Rohini Acharya donated her kidney. Its medical history also includes open-flood surgery performed in 2014. The recent update on the health of the RJD chief came upon him and his family members amid the ongoing investigation into the country-to-land scam. In connection with the case, the Enforcement Division (ED) Yadav questioned about four hours on March 19. Yadav’s oldest daughter Misa Bharti, who is also a RJD LP of pathaliputra, was with her father. Investigation on the ground case for the post is related to the allegation that Lalu Yadav committed corruption during his tenure in the UPA-1 government for the appointment of Group D substances in Indian Railways during 2004-2009. The ED said in an earlier statement that according to the Fir of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), candidates were asked to “transfer land as a bribe” in the railroad in the railroad.
