He said Uttar Pradesh has the most areas associated with Lord Buddha. Among them are Sarnath, Kushinagar, Kapilavastu, Shravasti, Sankisa, Kaushambi. Devdah, Dogarh of Lalitpur, Ahichhatra of Bareilly is also associated with Lord Buddha. Lord Buddha gave his first preaching in Sarnath after receiving notice. Kushinagar is his Mahaparinirvana site and Devdah Holy Birthplace. He had a rich in Kapilavastu. In Shravasti, he spent his most chaturms. All these places still remain the centers of inspiration for the country and the world. The chief minister said the state government did many works to continue the doctrine of Mahatma Buddha. The Capital Lucknow also has a Buddhist Vihar Shanti Upavan and the International Buddhist Research Institute, where the teaching of Mahatma Buddha is researched. NCR has the Gautam Budh University. A new university is under construction by the state government in the name Mahatma Buddha in Kushinagar. An international airport is operated in the name of Mahatma Buddha in Kushinagar itself. This journey, which visited the Buddhist tourist destinations of Uttar Pradesh, goes from Lucknow to Sarnath. The Yatra was organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Government of India, Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Tourism Division of Bihar. On this occasion, the chief minister offered the products manufactured under a district one product scheme to the members of the delegation.
