Lava confirmed that its mid-range storm Play 5G and Storm Lite 5G smartphones will start in India on June 13. The original Lava Storm debuted especially in 2023, and the new models are aimed at reviving the brand in the Indian market. Lava Storm Play 5G and Storm Play Lite 5G Lava Storm Play 5G is powered by the MediaAk Dimensity 7060 processor and accompanied by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Leaks indicate that the phone may contain a 6.78-inch 120Hz screen and a primary rear camera of 50 MP. The teaser image shared by Lava shows a blue variant with a white line in the middle and a double circular camera setup with an LED flash. The right side of the phone contains the on / out button and volume rockers. Meanwhile, it is claimed that the storm Lite has a 6.78-inch 120Hz LCD screen, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. It is powered by the MediaAk Dimensity 6400 processor -the successor to last year’s Dimensity 6300, which appears in various budget smartphones. Although the price details are not yet to be confirmed, both smartphones are expected to fall below the 20,000 price segment.
