Though Netflix hasn’t officially announced the return of Selling Sunsetmultiple stars have confirmed that there will be a ninth season and that fans can expect plenty of luxury listings, high-end fashion and, of course, office drama.

It seems the feud between Nicole Young and Chrishell Stause will continue in the reality show’s next installment. In August 2024, Chrishell wrote on her Instagram Stories that she would “NEVER work on a show” with Nicole again.

However, she changed her tune in an October 2024 interview with Pedestrian.TV.

“Obviously I have very strong feelings about her that I stand 10 toes down on and I don’t take any of that back,” Chrishell said in a TikTok video shared by the Australian news outlet. “However, I am also a businesswoman. I always will be able to change my mind if you add a zero. So listen, I hate her, but if you are going to pay me a ton of money to go say it to her face, then write the check.”

Yes, there will be a ninth season of Selling Sunset. Though Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed its renewal, star Amanza Smith posted a TikTok in November 2024 with the caption “and we’re back 🎬,” and the hashtag “#sellingsunsetseason9.”

However, the president of the firm, Jason Oppenheim, told Business Insider that they had to pause filming in January 2025 due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

“I don’t know if or how we’ll address it on camera,” he said, adding that they had halted Selling Sunset production so the real estate company could focus its efforts on helping victims.

When is Selling Sunset season 9 coming to Netflix?

Typically, in the show’s cycle, Selling Sunset seasons come to Netflix in November, so the same schedule could be true for season 9.

Who is in the Selling Sunset season 9 cast?

Netflix hasn’t confirmed which cast members will be returning for the next season of Selling Sunset. But star Mary Bonnet told TooFab in November 2024 that fans can expect to see all the usual suspects.

Emma Hernan confirmed her return to the show and told PEOPLE in December 2024 that she’s eager to get her “truth out” and let fans get to know her more. The truth in question could be referring to the rumors discussed in season 8 that she was seeing a married man.

“Last season, I didn’t really have a voice and lies were told,” Emma claimed. “Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to tell the truth and even address everything. For me, I’m really excited this season to just explain that to everybody and tell everyone what’s going on.”

Though there were rumors that Nicole would not be returning to season 9 due to a heightened feud with Chrishell, the reality star confirmed she would be returning in January 2025.

Nicole then posted an Instagram Reel in February, behind-the-scenes of a “Season 9 Confessional.”

What will Selling Sunset season 9 be about?

Though details about the ninth season of Selling Sunset have been kept under wraps, Mary teased an intense season with a lot of drama, telling TooFab that she had to put her “war gear” on.

“It’s still pretty crazy, behind the scenes it’s still pretty mental,” she said, noting the feud between Nicole and Emma and Bre Tiesi’s drama with Emma and Chelsea Lazkani. “There’s a map of who doesn’t get along with who; it’s really difficult because I get along with everybody.”

Mary continued, “I really hope that people really stop the low blows, I think that’s enough of all of that.”
