Lembang area flooded, traffic diverted on several roads

West Bandung – Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds caused flooding in the Lembang area, West Bandung Regency (KBB), West Java. Traffic flow has been redirected. The flood hit on Friday (24/10/2025) around 13:00 WIB. Several points in Lembang that were flooded include Jalan Pasar Panorama and Jalan Maribaya on the way to Cibodas. Water overflowed from the canal causing vehicles to be unable to pass. “It is true that it floods, but if it rains heavily like now, the roads will definitely be flooded,” Lembang Police Chief AKP Dana Suhenda said in confirmation, as reported by detikJabar, Friday (24/10/2025). PAGE TO CONTINUE CONTENT Water overflowed from the canal and flooded the road, making it impossible for vehicles to pass. According to Dana, the cause of the flood was because the channel was narrow so that it could not accommodate the water flow. Vehicles heading from Jalan Raya Tangkuban Parah to Bandung via Jalan Pasar Panorama were forced to turn to Jalan Maribaya and then turn back to Jalan Seskoau. “Turn to Jalan Maribaya, then head to Seskoau, then turn again onto Jalan Adiwarta, exit still later into the Lembang Panorama Market area, but at a point that is not flooded,” said Dana.
