iPhone 17-air can make Galaxy S25 Edge Chunky, Ultra-Slim Design.

The smartphone market could see a fresh battle in the ultra-savvy segment this year, after the recent launch of the 5.8 mm thick Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Apple is expected to reveal its iPhone 17 air soon, a device that is rumored that it is even slimmer. Leaked information suggests that the iPhone 17 air can measure between 5.0 mm and 6.0 mm in thickness, with several sources pointing to numbers around 5.44 mm, 5.5 mm and 5.65 mm, according to Techradar. If these reports are accurate, the device would be thinner than the latest model of Samsung. Although the difference may seem minor, between 0.15 mm and 0.35 mm, images shared by Tipster @Theonecid show a Dummy unit of the iPhone 17 air along the Galaxy S25 edge, which highlights a noticeable reduction in the thickness. However, the iPhone 17 sky may have a camera lens that can protrude slightly more than the S25 edge, which could possibly compensate a bit of its slim advantage at the widest point. Reports also indicate possible compromises associated with the reduced form factor. The device is expected to include a single rear camera lens, as opposed to the two lenses on both the Galaxy S25 Edge and the standard iPhone 17. In addition, the iPhone 17 air is also expected to be available in four colors, with Sky Blue looking a likely favorite, according to a recently circulated Dummy model video. A video shared by Majin Bu on X displays a Dummy model of the iPhone 17 Air in Sky Blue from various angles. The cut highlights the versatility of the color, which can look almost white under certain lighting conditions, but shows a more clear blue color among others. The video also contains a comparison side by side with the iPhone 16 Pro in Desert Titanium, which offers viewers a sense of the slimmer profile of the 17 Air.
