'Fishermen Commission' forms a 'gimmick' before Bihar election: Mukesh Sahni

Patna, June 1 (IANS). Vikas Human Party (VIP) president and former Bihar minister, Mukesh Sahni, launched a dudling attack on the NDA government led by Nitish Kumar on Sunday, saying that the Fisherman Commission formation is nothing more than the prepols. Mukesh Sahni spoke to media and described the move a few months before the Bihar meeting of 2025, which aims to practice only the Nishad community. He said: “Why does this government suddenly remember the need of the Fisherman Commission just before the election? Sahni, who demanded strong support among the Nishad community, accused the NDA of breaking the promises of the community in the last election. And this time Nishad will pay them the price. The Nishad community, which is traditionally with fishing and water-based life, is an important voter group in Bihar. This group became politically out of the thin of the Arrival of Sahni. Some mainly represent their interests and demand representation, rights and discussion benefits. This community is united and firm to defeat Hollow promises. “This remark came at a time when political activities in Bihar sharpened at the Government Meeting before the 2025 election.
