British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has launched the Speed Triple 1200 RX in India. Only 1,200 units of this limited edition motorcycle will be sold worldwide. The price of Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX in the Indian market is Rs 23.07 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of specification, the limited edition Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX is powered by a 1,163 cc inline-3 liquid-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This powerplant produces 180 hp at 10,750 rpm and 128 Nm of peak torque at 8,750 rpm. The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX is largely based on the standard model, the Speed Triple 1200 RS. The Speed Triple 1200 RX stands out for its two-tone yellow and black color scheme and RX graphics. Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX Suspension System Apart from the cosmetic changes, the Speed Triple 1200 RX comes with a low set clip-on handlebar. In addition, the footpeg has been nicely adjusted to be higher than the standard model. Dual disc calipers with Brembo-style calipers and a Brembo MCS radial master cylinder improve braking performance. The Speed Triple also features Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 active suspension system, which is equipped with Öhlins SD EC steering damper for better handling. 1,200 units of the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX are equipped with a distinctive Akrapovic end cap made of carbon fiber and durable titanium. Although the company has announced that the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX is limited to just 1,200 units, Triumph has not yet clarified how many units will be sold in India. Share this story Tags
