Justice BR Gawai will be the country's next CJI, the name sent to the legal ministry

New -Delhi, April 16 (IANS). Justice Br, senior, senior judge of the Supreme Court The Way has been cleared that Gawai should be made the next Chief Justice (CJI) of India. Current Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna sent Justice Gawai’s recommendation to the Law Ministry as his successor. According to the tradition, the Law Ministry sought a recommendation for his successor to the current CJI, in response that Justice Khanna pushed the name of Justice Gawai forward. Justice Shev Khanna’s term ends on May 13. After him, Justice Br based on seniority. Gawai will take over as the next CJI. Justice Gawai will be the 52nd chief justice of the country. The appointment of Justice Gawai is special in many ways as he will become the second chief justice of Dalit. The honorable justice was born in Amravati on November 24, 1960, and began practicing on March 16, 1985. He left the late times in the first years. King S. worked with Bhosle (former lawyer and judge of the Supreme Court) until 1987. He then practiced independently in the Bombay High Court from 1987 to 1990. After 1990, mainly in the Nagpur Bank of the Bombay High Court, in which constitutional and administrative laws were special areas. He was a permanent attorney at Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Amravati Municipal Corporation and Amravati University. In addition, he regularly advocated various autonomous institutions and corporations such as CCCOM, DCVL and various city councils from the Vidarbha region. He was appointed assistant government lawyer and additional public prosecutor at Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench. On November 14, 2003, he was appointed an additional judge of the Bombay High Court and became a permanent judge on November 12, 2005. He served a variety of issues on the back of Nagpur, Aurangabad and Panaji, including Mumbai Main Bench. On May 24, 2019, he was promoted as Judge of the Supreme Court of India.
