Varanasi, May 22 (IANS). After the terrorist attack on Indian tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the echo of the ‘Operation Sindoor’ run by the Government of India against Pakistan is also heard in the streets and markets of Kashi. The theme of this operation is carved on Banarasi Sarees, which is considered the identity of Banaras, which attracts people. Banaras Saris dealers, inspired by the spirit of patriotism, included Operation Sindoor in their design. These Sarees portray the bravery of the Indian army, fleet and air force together. Sarees portrays symbols such as Brahmos rack, fighter aircraft, warship and Sudarshan Chakra (S-400). The demand for this Sarees is increasing quickly. It has now become the center of attraction, not only local, but also people across the country. The shopkeeper Vikas said we prepared this Saree through Operation Sindoor. In this, symbols of the army, water force and air force are mixed together. The Saree is also shown S-400, including Brahmos rack, all the fighter jets used in Operation Sindoor. Through this Saree we want to convey a message that the whole country stands with its soldiers, the whole of India is one. The shop owner further said that we have now prepared samples and that Saris will also be prepared. We want to give gifts to the country’s soldiers. This Saris is not only an example of traditional Banarasi art, but also makes everyone proud of patriotism in it. These sari’s have now become a new identity of patriotism, showing that every class, whether artist or businessman, is all standing together and standing with the nation. -Ians PSK/GKT shares this story tags
