Lopez and Hicks Homer has a strong start of Quantrill in Marlins 5-1 win over rays

Miami (AP) -otto Lopez hit a three-run homer in his first game on the injured list and Liam Hicks added a two-run shot to give a strong start by Cal Quantrill, and the Miami Marlins on Sunday to a 5-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. Quantrill (3-4) allowed one run and two strokes in five innings with six strokes for Miami, which improved at home to 12-13 with the first win of the series since winning two of three against Cincinnati from April 21-23. Lopez, who has been on the 10-day I with a sprained ankle since May 3, made Homer after Matt Mervis singled out with a double and Eric Wagaman to put runners on the corners in the third innings of Rays Starter Shane Baz (3-3).
