Lou Diamond Phillips to Direct Brian Cuban Novel ‘Ambulance Chaser’

Lou Diamond Phillips (Young Guns), Who Serves as Vice President of the Academy’s Actors Branch, is set to direct and appeaar in Legal Thriller The Ambulance Chaser, Based on the novel by Brian Cuban, Brother of Mark Cuban.

Set in Atlanta and Produced by Autumn Bailey-Ford, The Film’s Creative Team Includes Cinematographer Alan Caudillo (The Cleaning Lady) and Legendary Production Designer Wynn Thomas (Malcolm x) who will Receive an honorary oscar this year. Executive Producers Include Jeff Baker, David Delugas and Roshown Mcleod.

The Story Follows Atlanta attorney Jason Fredricks, a successspul but morally conflicted Lawyer whose life unravels when skeletal remeetal tied to his past resurface. Quickly Identified As a “person of interest” tied to a decadees-opteder, fredricks must navigate among the detectives determined to Nail Him, His District Attorney ex-Wiffe, and His Law Practice that Feeds off of “Injured” CLIENTS, ALLLIM TRYTHING TO TO CLEAR TRYERS Name, Protect his son, and expose a Web of Corruption and Betrayal.

The project is envisioned as the first installment in a trilogy. Finance is Still Coming Together and a Start Date Has Yet to Be Set.
