Lucy Liu to Get Award at Philadelphia Film Festival

Exclusive: The Philadelphia Film Society is set to bestow luu liu with the artist Achievement Award at the 34th Philadelphia Film Festival, Running October 16–26, 2025.

Liu is being recagenable for her “commanding and emotality layered performance” in the film Rosemeadwhich Will Screen at the Festival on the 21st and Will Be Releassed theatrical by Vertical This December.

Actress liu is well know for her performances in Movies and Series Such Kill Bill, Charlie’s Angels, Elementary, Presence, Why Women Kill and Ally McBeal. In Director Eric Lin’s Drama Rosemeadshe plays an ailing Woman who discovers her teenage son’s violent obsessions and must go to great legeths to protest Him, and Possibly Others.

The Award Will Be Presented AFTER The Rosemead Screening on Tuesday Oct 21 by Artistic Director Michael Lerman at the Philadelphia Film Society Center.
