Madhya Pradesh: 10 Policemen, including SDPO suspended on charges of eclipse of Hawala Money
Bhopal, October 10 (IANS). Madhya Pradesh, director of the police (DGP) Kailash Makwana, took major steps in the case of alleged eclipse of Hawala money sent to Maharashtra on Friday. The DGP has suspended Pooja Pandey, police officer (SDPO). Officials informed this. DGP Makwana ordered the suspension of SDPO Pooja Pandey at a time when Seoni superintendent of police (SP) Sunil Kumar Mehta on Thursday suspended nine policemen involved in the case. According to police, the Bandol police station and Sdpo Pooja Pandey’s office staff stopped a four-wheeled four-wheeled four-wheeled four-wheeler on Wednesday night. Instead of seizing the cash, they assaulted the driver, chased him away and tried to grab him. The alleged crime came to light when the driver and a businessman who sent the money contacted the police. When serious allegations against policemen reached the higher authorities of Jabalpur and Bhopal, police inspector general pramod Verma ordered an investigation into the case on Thursday. The investigation into the incident was handed to Jabalpur additional superintendent of police Ayush Gupta, who began the investigation on Thursday morning and submitted his report to the inspector general of police and director -general of police Makwana. During the investigation, it was found that the policy team did not even notify their superiors about the Hawala money. They were exposed when the businessman who lost money reached the Kotwali police station on Thursday morning and inquired. Based on the investigation of Ayush Gupta, Seoni SP has issued the suspension order of policemen, including the Bandol police station in Charge Sub-inspector Arpit Bhairam, Chief Constables Makhan and Radra Uike, Constables Jagdish Yadav, Yogendra Chaurasia, Ritesa Rhiver, Rites Kedar and Sadaphal. -SYANS SCH Share this story Tags
