Madhya Pradesh: Jyotiraditya Scindia made arrangements in Ashoknagar Hospital

Ashoknagar, March 29 (IANS). Telecommunications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Saturday inspected the District Hospital in Ashoknagar in Madhya Pradesh and demanded to increase the capacity of the hospital. In addition, he became acquainted with the patients treated in the hospital. Jyotiraditya Scindia reached the Ashokna District Hospital on the second day of his four -day stay in his parliamentary constituency. He made the arrangements of the hospital and died with the patients and their families and inquired about their health. Also heard their problems. The Union Minister insisted that the bed capacity of the sanctioned hospital is 350 to 400. He held a detailed discussion on the availability of health facilities, providing medicine, presence of doctors and quality of the treatment of hospital management and medical officers. He took direct feedback from patients about the available facilities in hospital and gave the assurance to strengthen health services and keep their needs in mind. The Union Minister also inaugurated the Birth Watch Room at the District Hospital. This feature is for pregnant women who need special care and comfort before delivery. This new facility will provide better health services to women, and it will be an important step towards their safe delivery. During the inspection, management told the Union Minister about the facility of CT scan operating in the hospital that the CT scan is usually charged five thousand rupees in the market. But CT scans of 30-40 people are made in the hospital daily. Meanwhile, the Union Minister said the approval of a new 350 bed hospital was received for the expansion of health facilities in Ashoknagar, including 300 beds and 50 beds for critical care. It is our attempt to expand the new hospital and take it to 400 beds so that we can provide better health facilities to the people here. He also visited the SNCU division of District Hospital, where a fire took place a few days ago due to AC Burst.
