Madhya Pradesh: Police have taken a flag march for peace and security on Navratri in Jabalpur

Jabalpur, September 22 (IANS). On the first day of Navratri, Jabalpur police from Madhya Pradesh took out a flag march on Monday to maintain peace and law and order in the city. The flag march started in the police control room, in which police in Jabalpur as well as RAP (Rapid Action Force) and STF (Special Task Force) also participated. Flagmars were taken from the sensitive areas of the city such as Hanumanatal, Gohalpur, Lordganj, Kotwali and Charkhamba to Goyal Nagar and Gohalpur area. In the entire time, the soldiers and officials marched on foot and communicated with the local population and called to maintain peace and harmony. Superintendent of the Police (SP) Sampat Upadhyay, leading the flag march, said: “Today is the first day of Navratri and this festival is widely celebrated in Jabalpur. In light of this, the police administration is completely alert. Navratri and Dussehra in a peaceful and safe environment. Sampat Upadhyay said: “It is our best attempt to celebrate the festival of Navratri and Dussehra with peace, harmony and joy.
