Maharashtra: Aditya Thackeray’s sharp attack on the center on H1B Visa fee, ‘darkness’ told silence

Mumbai, September 20 (IANS). The decision of the US Trump administration to make the H1B visa fee at $ 100,000 (approximately 84 lakh calls) annually raised the Indian IT professionals annually. The move will have the maximum impact on India, where 71 percent H1B visas are available for Indians. SHIV SENA (UBT) leader and former Maharashtra minister Aditya Thackeray on this issue on Saturday questions the silence of the central government. The leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), Aditya Thackeray, shared a long post on social media platform X. He surrounded the central government on the issue of H1B visa. He described the ‘shocking silence’ and said that it was not only the professionals, but also the pursuit of companies and youth. Thackeray wrote in the post: “The problem is not just about attack, even a bigger problem is the shocking silence of the central government. If ‘self -sufficient India’, ‘Make in India’ and other slogans really applied, it wouldn’t have been so much chaos. He further said that the H1B visa fee will now affect millions of workers, jobs and thousands of young aspirations, who want to create their career and a better world. Thackeray said: “I will not say about a brilliant 11 years of foreign travels and will not even say whether it becomes a foreign policy, but our Indians have to listen to our government talking to us and America. A good relationship between Indo-usa is a very good thing for the world, but the silence of our government is a complete darkness for the people.” Explain that Trump signed the announcement on September 19, which will come into effect from September 21. Currently, the fee is between $ 2,000-5,000, but the new fee will be mandatory for 12 months, which can be extended later. -Ians Sch Share This Story Tags
