Maharashtra: Flood relief package announced, Sarnaik, Minister of Transport, called it a historical step

Mumbai, October 11 (IANS). The government of Maharashtra gave great relief before Diwali by announcing an RS 31.628 crore for farmers who are by the flood deficiency. Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik called it a historical step and called the opposition’s Humberda Morcha as “political drama”. He said the government is committed to the well -being of farmers, and instead of taking out a front, the opposition should focus on taking advantage of the government’s schemes. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Ministers Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde announced the package, which includes cash aid of Rs 47,000 per hectare, crop loss, soil erosion and livestock loss. This package will cover 34 districts and 347 tehsils. Sarnaik said: “This package was made for all the poor farmers. If anyone says ‘the government has given nothing at the time of the election,’ then it is wrong. We have made schemes that will benefit the farmers directly. If necessary, we will increase more.” He said: “Farmers have suffered great losses in some parts of the district. For this, they will visit the areas in question on October 14-15. We will celebrate Diwali with the farmers, giving grain, essential commodities, school material for children and groceries, so they have a sweet Diwali.” He called on the farmers to avoid movements such as Humberda. On the complaint of irregularities in the Panchnamas, he instructed the district magistrate to perform the recording again and said: “Those who make the wrong pannamas will be held liable. There will be no shortage of the Boers.” In Sambhajinagar, Eknath Shinde said that Shiv Sena would take responsibility for the marriage of flood -oriented farmers. Sarnaik welcomed and said, “If there is a bride and groom in the district, we will provide full help. Shinde Saheb is not only in Maharashtra, but is the companion of every Hindu in the trouble of the Himalayas to Kashmir. The Jain community is also with him.” -SYANS SCH Share this story Tags
