Maharashtra Gifts PM Awas Yojana, has approved more than 10 Lakh new houses

Mumbai, June 3 (IANS). Maharashtra received a great gift under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural). Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved 10,29,957 new homes during the financial year 2025-26. Head of State Devendra Fadnavis thanked Premier Modi for this gift. Devendra Fadnavis wrote in the X-mail, “Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, thank you! After approval of 20 Lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural) for Maharashtra, the Modi government has now approved an extra 10,29,957 houses for the financial year 2025-26.” He further said that a total of 33.40.872 homes were previously approved for the state. With this new approval, the total number of houses approved for Maharashtra is now 44.70.829.
