Maharashtra: Great relief for the 12th class students, the last date for filling out the examination application forms

Mumbai, September 29 (IANS). Due to heavy rain in marathwada, Solapur and many other state districts in Maharashtra, farmers as well as students have a major problem. Students of Class 12 have had problems with the submission of exam applications, with a view to the government’s last date. The State Examination Board extended the last date for completing the exam form for Class 12 students until October 20. Earlier, the last date for the filling of the exam form for Class 12 students was on September 30, but due to continuous rainfall in Marathwada, Nashik, Solapur, Ahilyanagar and other areas, students and their parents had trouble filling out the exam form. Many students and parents demanded the state government and the department concerned to extend the last date for submitting applications. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said in this regard that he received calls from many students and farmers from the flood -driven areas, in which he said it was impossible for Class 12 students to fill the exam form due to rain and flooding. He immediately approached the Minister of Education Dada Bhusus and explained the seriousness of this situation. After this discussion, the Minister of Education agreed and decided to extend the last date by October 20. Eknath Shinde said it would provide thousands of students with relief and that they would be able to fill their exam form in time without any obstacle. This decision will not affect students’ education and the concerns of the parents will also be reduced. The move was welcomed by students and parents in different parts of the state. This decision is considered a sensitive and supportive step in the field of education amid natural disasters such as heavy rain and floods. -Ians PIS/DKP Share This Story Tags
