However, no action will be taken against the vehicles whose owners booked a valid appointment for HSRP before August 15.” Vehicle owners are advised to go to the transport department website https://transport.maharashtra.gov.in and make an appointment to have HSRP installed. The transport department gave the responsibility to install HSRP on 2.10 crore vehicles from more than 4 crore vehicles after a long tender process.
