Police took the turtles in their custody with the bucket and handed them over to the department. Charan Singh, inspector of wildlife, said that, after receiving information from the Nangal Chaudhary police station, he went to the place and took the turtles under his supervision. A suspicious person is questioned in the investigation. Inspector said that a bag was also recovered from the scooter, in which some documents were found. Police are looking for the owner based on the scooter number and the documents found in the bag. In the preliminary investigation, these turtles are believed to be transported illegally for smuggling. Upon completion of the investigation, a case will be registered under the Wildlife Act.
