‘Make in India’ gets power in Varanasi, Gaurav has launched ‘Uday Bharat’ app, 400 got work

Varanasi, September 30 (IANS). Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Vocal for Local’, the young Gaurav Kumar Srivastava of Varanasi introduced an app under his company Uday Bharat. Through this app, he worked to provide work to 400 people at the local level. The company organized the employment scholarship, which a large number of youth and women participated. Under this initiative, a provision of salary ranging from 15 thousand rupes to one lakh rupes was made to employees. Delivery services will be provided by the app to homes, offices and other places in the city. Uday Bharat Company co-founder Gaurav Kumar Srivastava said during a special conversation with Ians that he was employed in a foreign (Turkish) company earlier, where about 300 people worked under him. The company suddenly fired all its employees. After that, Gaurav decided that he would form his business and offer work to the locals. Gaurav said: “I am a resident of Kashi, so this initiative was started from Kashi. After giving work to 400 people here, I also have to expand the app in Gujarat, Mumbai and Delhi.” Srivastava said a team of 20 local people, after coming to Banaras, was formed. There are some who wanted to go abroad, they also got a chance. People are added under ‘Vocal for Local’. People who got a job also expressed happiness and said that they now have the opportunity to do good work by just staying at their home. Khushboo Singh, who got a job under the Employment Fair, said applications were submitted before getting an appointment in the mail. After an interview, I was selected for official work. This is a golden opportunity for local people. We no longer have to work out of our environment. It is as a gift for all of us. Krishna Kumar Maurya said the appointment under the Employment Fair was received as a software developer. This is a golden opportunity for me. Along with getting a job at local level, I will also become the support of the family and make money. Ashu Srivastava said that information on the employment scholarship was received via newspaper. Uday Bharat is a delivery business. After getting this information, we thought that instead of working for foreign enterprises, something should be done for our country.
