Congress workers in Ajmer Burnt BJP leader Gyan Dev Ahuja's Effigy, screaming slogans by taking out the funeral march
Political turmoil was seen again in Rajasthan when the congress party protested against BJP leader Gyan Dev Ahuja. The protest march was held when Ahuja made an offensive statement about opposition leader Tikaram Julie’s Ram Temple and Ganga water there. The congress expressed strong dissatisfaction with Ahuja and BJP about this statement. The congressional workers performed a major protest march outside the City District Congress in Ajmer today. During this, he burned the effect of Gyan Dev Ahuja and took out the funeral. The protesters raised slogans and voiced their anger against the BJP leader. Congress workers said that Ahuja’s statement is not only an insult to religious belief, but also emphasizes the BJP’s anti -dalit mentality. Vijay Jain, outgoing president of the Ajmer City District Congress, said during the protest march that BJP leader Gyan Dev Ahuja’s statement reflects his party’s mentality. It is clear that the BJP is against Dalits and other weaker parts of society. Jain also claimed that Ahuja’s statement harmed religious feelings and is an attempt to spread hatred in society. It should be known that Gyan Dev Ahuja gave a statement during Ramnavami’s life on the day of Ramnavami that the temple became impure because of the congressional members visiting the temple. Ahuja also claimed to have indicated the temple by spraying ganga water. After this statement, Congress filed a strong protest against the BJP and Ahuja. Congress says that this statement clearly reflects the BJP’s policy of promoting hatred and efforts to promote polarization in society. This dispute is not only limited to Ajmer, but also in Rajasthan there is increasing political warmth between BJP and the congress. The congress decided to vote against Ahuja at every level and called on all party workers to unite and fight against such statements and anti -dalit mentality. This entire development has led to a new debate in state politics, in which there will be a conflict between the two most important parties about the use of religious issues in politics and raising disputes over the rights of the Dalit community. The protesters included the chairman of the dairy chairman Ramchandra Chaudhary, Mahila Congress District President Hiteshwari Branch, Shivkumar Bansal, Hemant Bhati, youth congress president Mohit Malhotra, Nareshat Satyavan, Manish Sen, Mukesh Sablania and many Kongressivists.
