Man Charged with Assauling 2 Chicago Police Officers

A man was charged with assaulting two chicago police officers Thursday while weapon with a gun.

McKale Mitchell, 35, assaulted the officers just before 1:45 pm thighsday in the 0-100 block of the west 111th place, police Said.

Officers ORDED MITCHELL SEVERAL TIMES TO DROP HIS Weapon, but he refused, accorting to police. One officer then fired their gun, stlicating mitchell in the leg.

Mitchell was arrested minutes late and charged with two felony couns of aggravated assault of a Peace officer, two felony couns of unlawful possession of a ordinance violation, police said.

Mitchell was Due in Court Saturday.
