The whole plan was to call the murder an accident. According to police, the accused man had already received an insurance policy and got the amount in his name. He then conspired to kill his wife and to make her death look like a road accident. He pretended as if his wife had died in an accident, but related marks were found in the postmortem report that exposed the entire case. Low of suspicion revealed: First, the man gave a statement to police that his wife had died after their bicycle had slipped, but no signs of collision were found during the investigation into the place. Jewelry and mobile devices were missing in the body, which was initially a case of robbery. However, using mobile call details and CCTV footage, the police exposed the entire story. Even the police were surprised. Hazaribagh police said the man not only conspired to commit murder, but also kept the documents of the insurance company and the hospital in advance so that the money could be easily claimed. The SP said the accused tried to “cover every corner”, but his false story eventually failed in the forensic report. Accused arrested, interrogation continues.
