Maharashtra: Surinder Chaudhary meets Eknath Shinde, assured about the safety of citizens of Jammu and Kashmir

Mumbai, April 27 (IANS). Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Chaudhary, met on Saturday in Maharashtra, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, in Mumbai and expressed satisfaction with the security measures that the Maharashtra government hit Jammu and Kashmir residents. Deputy Chief Minister Chaudhary studied with students, professionals and traders in Maharashtra and increased confidence in their safety. In this meeting, Chaudhary emphasized the importance of safety of the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir in Maharashtra and asked that Eknath Shinde should take all necessary steps for his well -being. In response, Eknath Shinde ensured full cooperation, saying that the government of Maharashtra and the people of Maharashtra had a deep relationship with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and we are committed to their safety. According to the Instructions of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Deputy Chief Minister Chaudhary, employees and professionals in the private sector met separately and inquired about their safety and well -being. He also met senior police officers. Chaudhary once again said that the safety of the residents of Jammu and Kashmir is the top priority of the government. “We’ll try to protect our people,” he said. Chaudhary said: “The Omar Abdullah government is always concerned about the well -being of its people and is fully committed to their safety.” He advised the students and other residents to contact the official helpline numbers broadcast by the administration for any help. It is noteworthy that terrorists set fire to unarmed tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22. 26 people were killed and many were injured in this attack. Protests are seen across the country about the terror attack.
