Manipur: Municipal Corporation has changed the garbage dumping space in IMPHAL at the entertainment of senior citizens

IMPHAL, APRIL 18 (IANS). In an effort to reduce the spiritual tension caused by the ongoing struggle in Manipur and to work to the clean Imhal City, the Municipal Administration, Housing and Urban Development Division (MAHUD) and the IMPHAL Municipal Corporation (IMC) took an important initiative for the people of Manipur. As part of the Clean Imhal campaign, the municipal corporation inaugurated on Friday inaugurated the entertainment site of senior citizens at Nagpal in Imhal City, where there was an old landfill. Mahud Director NG Uttam Singh expressed happiness on this initiative and said: “This is a small step, but in these unfortunate times of manipur, we need many such entertainment places. This initiative of IMC aims to make a small but meaningful place in the crowded city of IMPHAL, where senior citizens can enjoy quiet moments.” He said, ‘Wherever people get open space, throw garbage. The director said: ‘We have so far identified 20 garbage-sensitive points in the city. We have made all six of them beautiful and are now planning the beautification of all 20 places. Our goal is to make Imhal a clean city. More such places need to be established in different areas.
