Manish Eri took responsibility for the new commander of Wellington

Chennai, September 18 (IANS). The Defense Service Staff College (DSSC) Wellington was ordered by Lieutenant General Manish Eri on Thursday. He replaced Lieutenant General Virendra Vals, IceM, SM, VSM, which has contributed significantly in the past three years to improve the educational level in this important Tri-Service Institute, promote joint training and strengthen international military cooperation. DSSC was founded in Quetta (now in Pakistan) in 1905 and in 1947 it was moved to Wellington in Nilgiri district Tamil Nadu. It is the largest three-service training center in India, which teaches the elected officers of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as the Allied officials of the Allies, leadership, strategies, coordination and the nuances of staff functions. Recently, after completing his 77 -year travel, this college plays an important role in preparing future military leaders. Lieutenant General Manish is an alumnus of the National Defense Academy, Khadakwasla and the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. He received a commission in the 9th Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry in December 1988. He is also an old student of DSSC and has acted brilliantly in all professional courses in his career. He has a widespread experience of 37 years in the Indian army. He commanded the battalion in the high places in Chushhul, Northern Glacier, East Ladakh, formed the infantry brigade under the Mountain Strike Corps and ordered the mountain section and the Gajraj core. His most important staff appointments include Inspector General (operations) in the National Security Guard, staff head in the southwestern commando and director -general of strategic planning in the Ministry of Defense. While taking the lead, Lieutenant General Eri thanks ERI DSSC’s civil employees and local people who supported the college.
