Manoj Tiwari inspected Wazirabad Chhath Ghat, participated in Shramdaan for cleanliness
New Delhi, October 23 (IANS). BJP MP and representative of Northeast Delhi Lok Sabha constituency Manoj Tiwari visited Ram Ghat in Wazirabad on Thursday. During this he inspected the preparations for Chhath Ghat and participated along with the workers by donating labor to the cleanliness campaign. Present on this occasion were Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh, Timarpur MLA Surya Prakash Khatri, District President Dr. UK Many BJP workers including Chaudhary were present. Manoj Tiwari, while sharing this information on the social media platform ‘X’, expressed his commitment towards the Chhath festival preparations. Manoj Tiwari posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and wrote, “Wazirabad Chhath Ghat inspection and Shramdan. Today inspected Ram Ghat located in Wazirabad of my Lok Sabha constituency and participated in Shramdan at Chhath Ghat. Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh, Timarpur MLA Surya Prakash, District President Dr. Khoudh Prakash, Dr. many other workers were present. It is our collective responsibility to ensure cleanliness and facilities during the Chhath festival. The whole aim of our government is that people who fast Chhath do not face any problem in any way!” During his inspection, Manoj Tiwari paid special attention to aspects like cleanliness, availability of water, lighting and security at the ghats. He participated in the cleaning of the ghat along with the workers and also appealed to the local people to maintain cleanliness. In view of the growing popularity of the Chhath festival in Delhi, the administration and local leaders are busy improving the system of ghats every year. The BJP MP said that his government and party are committed to ensure every possible facility for the people fasting Chhath. Let us tell you that Chhath festival, which is mainly celebrated in Bihar, Jharkhand and East Uttar Pradesh, is also celebrated with great enthusiasm in Delhi.
