Maratha will get reservation without tearing OBC rights: Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil
Shirdi, October 4 (IANS). In the process of maratha discussion in Maharashtra, the state government made it clear that the discussion would be given to the maratha society without tampering an OBC discussion. This clear policy again repeated the president of the Deputy Committee of the Maratha reservation and the Minister of State of Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, saying that he is completely stable and stuck on the decision the government made. This decision will not be withdrawn in any situation. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil said that the government was taken several steps in support of maratha discussion and in this direction there is a continuous dialogue with the people of the maratha society. In particular, there are discussions with Manoj Yarange Patil, which the government has also assured that its claims will be noticed. In addition, the minister also told that committees were established at village level to determine the lineage of the maratha society. These committees will determine the lineage based on the surname (Audin) of the people living in the towns. If about 80 percent of people in a town are related to the same and four people have a ‘Kunbi certificate’, the rest will also receive a Kunbi certificate after investigating their lineage. This step will be helpful in offering their identity and discussion benefits to the people of the maratha society. Explain that the purpose of maratha discussion is to classify the maratha community as a social and educational backward class and provide their reservation in government opportunities and educational institutions. However, many OBC leaders and people of the community were against it, because the discussion is expected to reduce the OBC community. At the same time, the coming visit of central government cooperative minister AMIT Shah is also many discussions in the state. He will launch various projects in Loni and Kopargaon on Sunday after a night’s rest in Shirdi. During this time, Minister of Maharashtra Radhakrishna Vikha Patil will also be present, which will discuss other development issues, including Maratha reservation. -Ians Pim/DSC shares this story Tags
