Kamran Khan, who threatened to kill Premier Modi and Yogi Adityanath by false calls
A court in Mumbai sentenced Kamran Khan to two years in connection with the case of threat to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh, chief minister of Yogi Adityanath. The accused called the Mumbai police room and claimed that Don Dawood Ibrahim, underworld, offered Rs 5 -Crore for the murder of the Premier Modi and Rs 1 Crore for the attack on CM Yogi Adityanath. Threatened call to Mumbai police is the case on December 20, 2023, when a police officer in the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s control room received a call at about 19:14. The caller, who initially described himself as Ibrahim Kalyani, claimed that Modi and Yogi were in danger and if the police did not take his complaint seriously, he would bomb the JJ Hospital in Mumbai. When the police officer tried to continue the conversation, the caller suddenly disconnected the call after threatening. The incident was reported to senior officials immediately and the investigation was started. The accused was traced and arrested, later identified as Kamran Aamir Khan. The court convicted the accused. During the investigation, police learned that Kamran Khan had a history to make similar threats, including a previous case in which he threatened Yogi Adityanath. In court, police presented evidence that the accused falsely claimed to have a relationship with Dawood Ibrahim and had no evidence to support his mental instability despite his lawyer’s demands. The court ruled that Khan was guilty in terms of the following: Section 505 (2) of IPC (statements that create enmity, hatred or malicious statement between classes) sentenced him to a simple two -year imprisonment and a £ 500 fine (which did not pay 15 days). Section 506 (2) of IPC (criminal intimidation), sentenced to two years strict imprisonment and £ 500 (15 days will be jailed for not paying). There is no softening for the accused; The court rejected the softening of the defense of the defense and said that the nature of threats could not be taken lightly.
