Marsda Wahyu Hidayat died due to illness, was undergoing treatment
Jakarta – The Presidential Military Secretary (Sesmilpres) of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana, expressed his condolences on the passing away of the Danpaspampres era of the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Marsda Wahyu Hidayat Sudjatmiko. Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana said Marsda Wahyu Hidayat died due to illness. “Innalillahiwainnalillahirajiun, he died due to illness. We pray that the late Husnulhatimah and the family left behind will be given strength and perseverance,” Brigadier General Wahyu told reporters on Sunday (19/10/2025). Marsda Wahyu reportedly underwent treatment before he was pronounced dead. The plan is for the 28th Paspampres commander to be buried at the TNI AU’s Bahagia Cemetery (TMB) Jatisari, Bekasi, West Java. This was also confirmed by Kadispenau Marsma TNI I Nyoman Suadnyana. Wahyu Hidayat is said to have undergone treatment at Mayapada Hospital. “He died in the Mayapada hospital due to illness,” he said. Paspampres Commander Major General Edwin Adrian Sumantha and the entire Paspampres family expressed their deepest condolences on the passing of Marshal Wahyu Hidayat. Marsda Wahyu Hidayat was the Commander of Paspampres for the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) for a year. The deceased was seen as a leader and role model who left the values of loyalty, honor and a trail of service in the history of Paspampres. The Paspampres extended family prays that all Marsda Wahyu Hidayat’s good deeds, devotion and dharma bhakti will be accepted by the Creator, and that the family left behind will always be given strength, strength and sincerity. “Goodbye, Commander.
